Ensuring a thriving society/economy for all through gender-responsive:
Data aggregation and use
Gathering disaggregated data based on gender is essential to understand disparities and inform effective policies. Gender-disaggregated data allows for a deeper understanding of inequalities, identifying areas where interventions are needed most.
Gender-Responsive Data Collection Strategies: Ensure data collection methods account for gender differences (e.g., labor force participation rates, income levels, education access).
Implement Intersectional Data Collection: Collect data that accounts for intersectionality, considering how gender intersects with other factors like race, ethnicity, disability, and socioeconomic status.
Use Technology for Data Collection: Utilize technology such as mobile surveys and digital platforms to reach diverse populations and capture gender-specific information.
Strengthen Research Capacities: Invest in building research capacities to conduct gender-sensitive analysis and interpretation of data.
Informed decision-making and targeted interventions to address specific gender-based challenges become possible when policymakers have access to robust and gender-disaggregated data. This enables evidence-based policy formulation and resource allocation tailored to address the unique needs of women and marginalized groups.
Policy Development
Gender-responsive policies address inequalities and foster inclusive development by prioritizing gender equality as a fundamental principle of governance.
Conduct Gender Analysis: Integrate gender considerations into policy formulation across sectors by conducting gender impact assessments and gender audits to identify existing disparities and develop responsive interventions.
Mainstream Gender Equality: Ensure that gender equality becomes a mainstream consideration in policy development processes across all government departments and agencies.
Establish Gender Budgeting: Implement gender budgeting tools to allocate resources effectively towards gender-responsive programs and services.
Policies designed with a gender lens reduce gender gaps in opportunities and outcomes, promoting equal participation, access to services, and empowerment of women and marginalized groups.
Policy Action

Strengthen Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track progress, identify implementation challenges, and ensure accountability.
Allocate Resources Effectively: Ensure adequate resources, including budgetary allocations and human resources, are allocated towards policy implementation and enforcement.
Enhance Legal Enforcement: Strengthen legal frameworks and regulatory mechanisms to enforce compliance with gender-responsive policies.
Effective policy action translates policy intentions into tangible outcomes, leading to improved access to rights, services, and opportunities for women and marginalized groups.
Partnerships
Collaborative efforts maximize resources, expertise, and impact in advancing gender equality and inclusive development.

Stakeholder/ Citizen Engagement
Legal frameworks provide the foundation for upholding and protecting gender equality as a fundamental human right.
Review and Amend Legal Provisions: Conduct comprehensive reviews of constitutional provisions to ensure they guarantee equality and non-discrimination based on gender.
Strengthen Human Rights Protections: Embed gender equality principles into constitutional frameworks to protect against gender-based discrimination and ensure access to justice for all.
Establish Constitutional Oversight Mechanisms: Implement mechanisms for judicial review and constitutional enforcement to safeguard gender equality principles.
Constitution amendments provide a solid legal basis for promoting and protecting gender equality, ensuring that laws and policies are aligned with international human rights standards.
Policy Impact Program
(Sector/Issue & Community-specific Interventions)
