Gender Equality Monitoring Dashboard.
GRIT 4 Development Framework
The GRIT4Dev Monitoring Dashboard is anchored on the need for developing context-specific qualitative and quantitative indicators for the monitoring of work and progress on gender equality programs and projects. The purpose of this monitoring framework is to curate and provide a selection of relevant evidence-based indicators targeted at enabling the monitoring and evaluation process of the GRIT4Dev Action Plan, spearheaded by the Nigerian Senate Committee on Women Affairs (SCOWAS).
The indicators serve as a performance assessment framework to measure the results in gender equality work across 46 different sector areas which constitute the Committees of the 10th Nigerian Senate. The framework is comprised of 3 core components:
- Gender Impact Measure (GIM): This consists of 10 key gender mainstreaming principles.
- Impact Dimension: There are four impact dimensions informed by the metric of the Global Gender Gap Index (GGI) as well as the priority areas addresses in Goal 17 of the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
- Impact Indicators: These are a set of 18 indicators informed by a combination of the gender impact indicators outlined in the GGI and Goal 17 of the Agenda 2063.
